X Factor is expected A new era revealed for The X Factor
The X Factor today confirms that Louis Walsh has decided to bow out of the legendary ITV talent show.
Louis has been the longest running judge on The X Factor, appearing on all bar one series since the show began in 2004. He will, though, continue to remain a key talent for Thames and Syco, notably as head judge on Ireland’s Got Talent which returns in 2019.
Louis Walsh said: “I’ve had a fantastic 13 years on The X Factor but the show needs a change and I’m ready to leave.
“I’m looking forward to another series of Ireland’s Got Talent, going back to my day job as a manager, writing my memoirs and seeing the world!”
Regardless if you're a fan of the X factor or not lets face it Louis Walsh has gave us alot of laughable moments over the years. To say thanks for the good times I found a bunch of complication videos of Louis Walsh's funniest moments when on X factor.
Even though it's not been made clear who will be replacing Louis Walsh there is many high profiled names in the speculation that could potentially fill Louis Walsh's shoes. Although according to the Sun newspaper apparently none other than Mr Robbie Williams will be taking to the judging panel.
The developments signal the beginning of a new era for the UK’s most popular music talent show, which returns to ITV for its 15th series later this year.
it'll be interesting to say the least I mean the X factor is a guilty pleasure for everyone, to sit as a family and watch it on Saturday's.
Even though we don't know the entire list on who's going to be joining the new era of X factor this year although that hasn't stopped speculation and rumours. I'll happily share with you the same rumours that have been floating around. Just means we will all have to wait until it airs to see which one was true or not.
Robbie Williams
Robbie has a long history with The X Factor, including performing on the show, collaborating with contestants and being a guest mentor at Judges’ Houses. He’s also often been rumoured for a spot on the judging panel, and now the whispers are louder than ever, especially after he made a surprise appearance at the Britain’s Got Talent live shows. Not forgetting even showing support when his good friend Garry Barlow was a judge on the show a few years ago.
Although as I mentioned early allegedly this rumour has already been confirmed by the Sun Newspaper.
Louis Tomlinson
He’s been a guest mentor at Judges’ Houses, and now Louis Tomlinson is being rumoured as an X Factor judge.
Back in 2016, after it was announced that Nick Grimshaw would be leaving the show after one series, Louis was asked whether he would be interested in taking a seat on the show.
The One Direction star replied: “We’ve had no official conversation yet. But yeah, I mean, why wouldn’t I?”
With one Louis gone, surely there’s now room for another to take a seat on The X Factor?
A lot of his fan base on twitter voiced their outraged for him not to do it and that he should focus more on completing his solo album that he keeps insisting it would be finished soon. I mean I could see it being a good idea potentially because he was one of those who did the show, got put in a group then the rest of course is history. Yes sure they didn't win the show but might as well had with the success that followed.
Mariah Carey
As much as I find this woman to be the voice of Christmas she is also a walking meme after that outragous footage got leaked of her singing multiple times live sound woeful. Last year, when rumours were swirling about the judging line-up for 2017, superstar diva Mariah Carey was being rumoured to replace Nicole Scherzinger on the panel. Although it didn’t come to be then, the rumours are again going into overdrive that Mariah will be taking one of the spots on the show this year.
Previously, Mariah was a judge on American Idol. However, speaking about the experience the singer said it was “so boring and fake” being on the judges’ table. So we’re not holding our breath.
Ayda Field
If you're like me and didn't really know who she was when I say Robbie Williams is married to her it would pretty much make sense. However that being said Loose Women panellist and actress Adya Field is also one of the names being reportedly lined up to take a spot on the panel this year. She’s not known for being a singer, but she is well-known as Robbie Williams’ wife.
According to The Mirror, a source said: “ thinks doing the show with Robbie will be a lot of fun – particularly as she wants to beat her husband at his own game. She can’t wait to get started.”
Now of course there is many rumours one of them rumours even included Craig David, Alesha Dixon, Rita Ora and more. I suppose we will have to wait to see who Simon has chosen which angle he's trying to go in regards to his new era approach for X factor
Sharon Osbourne - who has appeared on seven series - has also chosen to take on an exciting new role on the show, which will see her appear as a judge on The X Factor’s live episodes. because of last series she was having go fly too and from america to film her TV show she was always falling ill from exhaustion and jet lag they decided it would be best just to have her appear on the live shows.
To which got me wondering, I mean will she just be a non biased judge then? and just give her opinion without having a group of contestants? because surely she can't have a category if she's not there to coach them. Who knows.
Creator Simon Cowell will return to The X Factor for the new series with three new fellow judges being announced in due course. Judges’ auditions for The X Factor 2018 will take place at The SSE Arena, Wembley. More than 30,000 contestants have so far entered the 2018 series.
