This is a list of shows/movies you could watch throughout isolation - Selected from popular picks

Sometimes it could be irritating when you can't decide on a show or movie to watch, you would have gone through different platforms and couldn't agree on something to watch, hopefully viewing this list will help you when it comes to picking something in the future.
After life

After Tony's wife dies unexpectedly, his nice-guy persona is altered into an impulsive, devil-may-care attitude; taking his old world by storm.

After Life

TV Network: Netflix
Premiere Date: Mar 8, 2019
Genre: Comedy
Executive Producers: Charlie Hanson, Ricky Gervais, Duncan Hayes

It's beautifully written, what I mean by that is in season one Ricky Gervais makes no secret he is not copping from the death of his wife and has a quest to potential kill himself. I think the importance for a show like this was remarkable it not only hits enough emotion to make you want to pick up the phone to call someone. It  instantly makes you want to find out more about the characters.

I think the story affects so many people in the world therefore if you're able to watch and then feel the urge to share your story with someone new I believe you have to classify this as a successful show. That being said I do believe it's more than just an mental health awareness type show. It shows the importance of love and happiness.

13 Reasons Why

Follows teenager Clay Jensen, in his quest to uncover the story behind his classmate and crush, Hannah, and her decision to end her life.

TV Network: Netflix
Premiere Date: Mar 31, 2017
Genre: Drama
Executive Producers: Selena Gomez, Joy Gorman, Brian Yorkey, Kristel Laiblin

A lot of people will deem this as controversial but in season one it's about the story of a young girl's experience of being bullied and you're given 13 reasons to why she killed herself, season two you're seeing the back clash from that and seeing her family and friends in court and you're taken to see if those involved in her death will be accounted for.

In season three you one of the villain in the show dies and you're taken on a journey to establish who killed him.

The reason I would class this as a show to watch I know it causes a lot of anger, and it gets people annoyed to the point where they scream out their opinions of the show, but it's designed to do that. It's done to make you talk, make you get angry, make you no longer wished to stay quite knowing all this situations is going on. It also reflects no matter what you're going through friendship will always prevail.

Prison Break

Due to a political conspiracy, an innocent man is sent to death row and his only hope is his brother, who makes it his mission to deliberately get himself sent to the same prison in order to break the both of them out, from the inside.

TV Network: FOX
Premiere Date:
Genre: Action & Adventure
Executive Producers: Paul Scheuring, Matt Olmstead, Dawn Parouse Olmstead, Kevin Hooks, Brett Ratner, Marty Adelstein, Neal H. Mortiz, Neal H. Moritz

This show is the type of show that will have you engaged and in suspense from the second the show starts. It instantly has you at the edge of your seat. You're excited for finding out more. You begin to grow a fond bond with the characters despite you knowing you shouldn't considering most of the characters you meet are people serving time in prison for arguably wrong and terrible things. The incredible thing about this show is that the main character Michael goes through hell in order trying to protect and save his brother which is a beautiful sentiment. If you haven't seen prison break I would highly recommend the show.

With all the shows that has been featured on this list so far it is one of the oldest so far therefore I would be slightly surprised if this has yet to watched. Although if you're going to watch just avoid googling the show as I am certain people would had wrote about the ending numerous times already.

Sons of Anarchy

A biker struggles to balance being a father and being involved in an outlaw motorcycle club.

TV Network: FX
Premiere Date:
Genre: Drama
Executive Producers: Paris Barclay, Art Linson, John Linson, Kurt Sutter, James D. Parriot

What was beautiful with Sons of anarchy is that you shouldn't like these characters because they all come across as evil and horrible individuals from the start, you think they're all in it for themselves. You then discover more about them. You realise all trials and tribulations they face is for their family. You're drawn to their struggles and their pain you want them to succeed throughout the show the more you watch.

The only advice I could give to someone preparing to watch this show would be don't get too attached to characters. What I mean by that is a character you may feel is sensation to which is important may be hiding a secret. Kurt sutter is a tremendous writer and I can honestly say I am proud to be a fan of this show.

You

A dangerously charming, intensely obsessive young man goes to extreme measures to insert himself into the lives of those he is transfixed by.

TV Network: Netflix
Premiere Date: Sep 9, 2018
Genre: Drama
Executive Producers: Greg Berlanti, Sera Gamble, Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, Marcos Siega, Silver Tree

If you're currently single and are using dating sites to find your ideal partner, this would be one of those shows I wouldn't state they would make you prevent from using them but they would make you more aware of people. It's the ability to make everyone suddenly stop and become very vigilant of your surroundings. The incredible thing about this show for me was just how creative the show is. I mean you're ideally cheering on a stalker. Which in reality is such a bizarre statement to make but I couldn't state this enough the second you put it on you would not be able to turn it off until you have completed it.

The Ranch

The son of a Colorado rancher returns home from a semi-pro football career to run the family business.

TV Network: Netflix
Premiere Date: Apr 1, 2016
Genre: Comedy
Executive Producers: Don Reo, Jim Patterson

I think what makes this show so entertaining to watch for me would be Sam Elliot, that isn't stating the remainder of the cast isn't entertaining because they are. I just feel Sam Elliot has the charm of a rancher, I will be completely honest I only stumbled upon this by mistake one time as normally by the title I probably would had missed this out. That being said I the second I watched it I realised you don't have to know anything about ranching for you to understand the jokes and the comedy. It's the type of comedy that makes you feel good about your day, you smile, you laugh and just all around makes you want to continue watching. It's most definitely a must watch.

I will stop it there fear not I will make this a regular thing. I know I have missed out many titles but the reason why I mixed up the titles this time around was because normally when you see lists generated from people it always consists of the same show titles so I wanted to mix it up a little.

If you haven't seen a show you wanted on the list send me a message on Twitter so I can make sure I can add it for the next one.
